The audience lies on the stage forming a star shape around a strange, large cylinder and stares at the sky. A huge mirror hovers under the ceiling, which shows the dancers inside the cylinder. Following a rhythm, body parts form unlikely figures and turn into the colourful patterns of a kaleidoscope: symmetrical, flowing, secretive, and hypnotic.
The choreographer Jasmine Morand was born in 1977 in Zurich and lives in Vevey. She is inspired by the fine arts and uses the latest techniques in her choreographic work. Inn 2013, she won the dance prize of the Swiss Fondation Vaudoise pour la Culture, and in 2021 was awarded the Swiss Prize for performing arts.
