THINK BIG!
International dance, music theater and performance festival
for young audiences
In 2011, Simone Schulte-Aladağ and Bettina Wagner-Bergelt founded the international THINK BIG! Festival for contemporary dance, performance, and music theater for young audiences. In its early years, Fokus Tanz collaborated with Campus/Bavarian State Ballet, among others, and has been in partnership with the Schauburg, the City Theater for Young Audiences, since 2018. The biennial festival plays a key role in bringing the performing arts—with a focus on dance—to a wide audience and creates opportunities for international networking and exchange among dance professionals. THINK BIG! receives funding from the Department of Culture of the City of Munich.
