Lake Life
Immersive Performance
Can we become fluid? How do we connect with the world and with one another? “Lake Life” is both a puzzle and a celebration, entirely fictional yet very real. The audience is invited to experience unprecedented spaces and dreamlike transformations in a spectacular science-fiction fantasy world where the boundaries of one’s own identity become blurred. In “Lake Life”, a wide variety of encounters and interactions are possible. A space of joyful reinvention for everyone aged 10 and over. Adults are also welcome without being accompanied by younger people.
Kate McIntosh is from New Zealand, lives in Brussels and works across disciplines in the fields of performance, theatre, video and installation. She is particularly interested in the relationship between performers and audience, and the manipulation of objects and materials. All her projects are characterised by her consistently surprising and unconventional humour.
