Ceren Oran & Moving Borders (D)
ROND AU CARRÉ
A musical dance performance about geometric shapes in nature

location: HochX

Friday, 10 July | 10 am

Saturday, 11 July | 3 pm

Sunday, 12 July | 11 am

From the circle to the square, from the triangle to the trapezoid, geometric shapes are everywhere in nature, dancing together to the sounds of different elements. In both the infinitely vast and the infinitely small, they captivate us, revealing invisible connections between nature and art, between music, shapes, and colors. All we need to do is open our eyes and ears wide to see them move and hear them play in harmony all around us.

In Rond au Carré, Ceren Oran’s first piece created for babies and their parents, two dancers and two musicians invite the audience on a gentle, joyful, and inspiring journey while riding a colorful visual carpet.

Ceren Oran, recipient of the City of Munich’s 2022 Grant, was born in Istanbul, studied contemporary dance in Salzburg, and has been working primarily in Munich since 2014. Her productions tour nationally and internationally. For “Gute Wut,” Ceren Oran was awarded the German theater prize DER FAUST 2025 in the category “Direction: Theater for Young Audiences.” In 2026, she was invited to the Tanzplattform Deutschland with “Spiel im Spiel.”
